PLEASE CONTACT US AT lifesaver@qpcs.org FOR AVAILABILITY The American Red Cross Basic Life Support - BLS course is designed toward those who work in the healthcare field, such as nurses, dentist, pharmacists and EMTs. Although, anyone may take this course. Topics covered will be geared toward those in a healthcare environment and includes situations for adults, children and infants which include the following: -Critical Thinking and Problem Solving -Communication and Teamwork -Assess, Recognize and Care -Cardiac Chain of Survival for adults, children and infants -High Quality CPR for adults, children and infants -The use of AEDs for adults, children and infants -Single and Multiple Provider CPR for adults, children and infants -High Performance Resuscitation Teams -How to handle and obstructed airway for adults, children and infants -Opioid Care If you do not need a class geared toward those in the healthcare field, but still need a class to cover adults, children and infants, please see these other course types: Adult & Pediatric CPR / AED or Adult & Pediatric First Aid / CPR / AED https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/bls-training/bls-certification
